These Terms govern your use of medellinlodging.com and any booking made directly or through our reservation platform at reservas.medellinlodging.com. By using our website or booking a stay, you agree to these Terms.
About us
Medellín Lodging is a boutique short-term rental management company based in El Poblado, Medellín, Colombia. We manage luxury apartments and penthouses on behalf of property owners and provide concierge services to guests.
Bookings & payment
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
- Direct bookings via our reservation platform are confirmed instantly upon payment.
- Prices are listed in USD per night and exclude cleaning fees, taxes, or optional services (which are quoted separately when applicable).
- Payment is processed through our secure booking platform. Accepted methods are listed at checkout.
Check-in & check-out
- Standard check-in: 3:00 PM. Standard check-out: 11:00 AM. Early or late times may be available — please request in advance.
- You will receive check-in instructions and arrival details via email or WhatsApp 48 hours before your stay.
- Valid government-issued ID is required at check-in for all guests, as required by Colombian law.
Cancellation policy
- 7+ days before check-in: full refund minus processing fees.
- 3 to 7 days before: 50% refund.
- Less than 3 days before or no-show: non-refundable.
- Special seasons (Christmas, New Year, Easter) may have stricter policies — this will be noted at booking.
House rules
By booking with us, you agree to:
- Use the property only for residential lodging (no commercial filming, parties, or events without prior written consent).
- Respect noise rules (10 PM – 8 AM quiet hours per Medellín regulations).
- Not exceed the maximum guest count listed for each property.
- No smoking inside the property. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas if available.
- Be responsible for any damage caused beyond normal wear and tear.
Concierge & extra services
Services such as transportation, private chef, tours, wellness, grocery stocking, and others are optional and quoted separately on request. Payment is collected before or upon delivery of the service. Bookings of third-party services are non-refundable within 24 hours of the scheduled service unless otherwise stated.
Liability
Medellín Lodging acts as the property manager. Property owners are responsible for the condition of each unit. We make every effort to ensure properties are clean, safe, and as described, but we are not liable for:
- Acts of nature, utility outages outside our control, or government restrictions.
- Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
- Indirect damages or consequential losses.
We strongly recommend travel insurance for all stays.
Property owner terms
If you are a property owner partnering with us, separate management terms apply and will be signed individually. Nothing on this page replaces a management agreement.
Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, photos, design) is the property of Medellín Lodging or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use it commercially without written permission.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site or booking with us after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Colombia. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Medellín, Colombia.
